Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Step 1: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently until it turns a golden brown and has a nutty aroma; let it cool slightly.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, mix the brown butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Step 3: Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture, beating until smooth.
