This classic cheese ball is a savory and creamy appetizer perfect for any gathering, featuring sharp cheddar and a crunchy herb coating.
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crackers for serving
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese until well blended.
- Step 2: Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper, mixing until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Step 3: Form the cheese mixture into a ball shape using your hands or a spatula.
- Step 4: In a shallow dish, mix together the chopped parsley, pecans, and chives.
- Step 5: Roll the cheese ball in the parsley, pecan, and chive mixture until it is evenly coated on all sides.
