Ingredients
- 2 large apples
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Peel and core the apples, then slice them into 1/4-inch thick rings.
- Step 3: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, ground cinnamon, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Step 4: In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until well combined.
- Step 5: Dip each apple ring into the dry mixture, shaking off any excess, then dip into the wet mixture, and again into the dry mixture, ensuring an even coating.
- Step 6: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the coated apple rings in a single layer. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Step 7: Air fry the apple rings for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Step 8: While the apple rings are cooking, prepare the yogurt dip by mixing the Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
- Step 9: Once the apple rings are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
- Step 10: Serve the air-fried cinnamon apple rings warm with the yogurt dip on the side.
