- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cooking spray or additional oil for the waffle iron
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Step 3: In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Step 4: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; the batter will be slightly lumpy.
- Step 5: Lightly coat the preheated waffle iron with cooking spray or brush with oil.
- Step 6: Pour the batter onto the center of the waffle iron, using an appropriate amount for your specific appliance, and close the lid.
- Step 7: Cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp, usually around 5 to 6 minutes, depending on your waffle iron.
- Step 8: Carefully remove the waffles and repeat with the remaining batter.
- Step 9: Serve warm with your choice of toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
