Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine olive oil, honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Whisk until well combined.
- Step 3: Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade.
- Step 4: Spread the chicken pieces out in a single layer on one half of the prepared sheet pan.
- Step 5: Place the broccoli florets in the same bowl, using any remaining marinade, and toss to coat. Arrange the broccoli on the other half of the sheet pan.
- Step 6: Season the chicken and broccoli with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the broccoli is tender and slightly charred.
- Step 8: Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Step 9: Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
