Ingredients
- 1 large head of cauliflower
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup Korean barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a smooth batter.
- Step 4: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated, then shake off any excess batter.
- Step 5: Place the coated cauliflower florets onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
- Step 6: Spray the florets lightly with cooking spray and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until they begin to brown.
- Step 7: Remove the cauliflower from the oven and brush each floret with Korean barbecue sauce until well-coated.
- Step 8: Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and the cauliflower is tender.
- Step 9: Remove from oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
