These classic no bake cookies are a deliciously sweet and chewy treat, combining chocolate, peanut butter, and oats for a quick and easy dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, milk, and unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Step 2: Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, and let it boil for 1 minute.
- Step 3: Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Step 4: Add the quick-cooking oats and salt to the saucepan, stirring until the mixture is well combined.
- Step 5: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then use a spoon to drop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the sheet.
