- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Step 1: 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: 2. Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.
- Step 3: 3. Drain excess fat from the pan if necessary, leaving a small amount for flavor.
- Step 4: 4. Add the sliced onion, minced garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
