Slow Cooker Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Step 2: Mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Step 3: Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Step 4: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Transfer the browned meatballs to a slow cooker and pour the marinara sauce over them.
  6. Step 6: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.
