Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- Step 3: In another small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
- Step 4: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Step 5: Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Step 6: Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken and bring to a simmer.
- Step 7: Add the cornstarch slurry to the skillet, stir well, and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Step 8: Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender yet crisp.
- Step 9: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
